CDCFIB Recruitment Portal Closes – See States with Highest Applications
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially closed its recruitment application portal for 2025.
According to the Board, the portal stopped receiving applications on Monday, August 11, 2025, after the earlier deadline was extended from August 4 to allow more applicants to finalize their submissions.
In a statement, the CDCFIB thanked Nigerians for showing interest in joining the service. The Board assured applicants that the next stage of the process will be communicated soon.
“We appreciate the commitment and patriotism of all applicants who wish to serve the country. Candidates are advised to remain patient and await further instructions from the Board,” the statement read.
Total Applications by State
The Board disclosed that a total of 1,908,870 applications were received across the 36 states and the FCT. Below is the breakdown of the states with the highest number of applications:

The CDCFIB announced that the shortlisted candidates will be published soon after the review of applications is completed. Candidates are urged to:
