Lord’s Chosen Church Founder Suspends His Son After Wedding, Urges Parents to Discipline Their Children

The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement (TLCCRM), Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has announced the suspension of his son, Benhail Muoka, just days after his wedding to Precious Duru on Saturday, July 26.

Speaking in a recent sermon that has since gone viral, Pastor Muoka explained that the decision was necessary to uphold the values and teachings of the church, adding that no one is above discipline — not even his children

Addressing his congregation, the preacher urged parents to instill discipline and godly fear in their children, warning that failure to do so could have long-term consequences.

“Do not allow your children to overgrow you and perish. Take control of your home. If they do wrong, discipline them immediately,” Pastor Muoka said.

“Even me, at this point, I still discipline my children. One of them wedded yesterday, and I suspended him because he acted contrary to what I teach. This is how it should be — we cannot compromise the truth.”

While Pastor Muoka did not give full details on what triggered the suspension, church sources hinted that certain aspects of the wedding ceremony did not align with church guidelines.
