A powerful new documentary from CBN, The Revival Generation, will debut on August 27 at the iconic Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The one-night event will feature the film premiere along with a time of worship, celebrating the growing movement of spiritual revival among Gen Z.
The documentary chronicles the nationwide campus revival movement—marked by repentance, salvations, and spontaneous mass baptisms in lakes, fountains, and even football stadiums.
At the heart of the film is the story of Tonya Prewett, whose daughter’s hidden struggles became the spark for Unite US, a student-led revival movement launched on September 12, 2023, with thousands praying together at Auburn University. Since then, the ripple effect has touched campuses like Ohio State and beyond.
“Gen Z is experiencing spiritual revival like never before,” said Prewett. “We should be expectant for how God will continue to move among this generation.”
Directed by Laura Hand and produced by Abigail Robertson, the film also features testimonies from leaders such as Dr. Ben Carson and Jennie Allen. Kennedy Center President Ambassador Richard Grenell noted the historical connection to past revivals, calling the premiere “a sign that what began in student hearts is now echoing across the nation.”
