PREFACE

There is a problem among many starters especially if am going to put it in a more better or simpler term young upcoming ministers when it comes to understanding the subject of how God make or build men many are not aware of it. Many are not aware of some of the things one may go through before he or she becomes ready for use in God’s program. There is a process to go through before a man or a woman can become ready for use. Years back I could have helped a lady out who needed to know some of these things but I was not able because I was also short of ideas then. This book is written to help provide enlightenment to all who are starters in God’s journey for making. It will help to provide them some of the answers behind why some certain occurrences are happening to them and also to help provide guidance on what to do when they are in their season of making already.

INTRODUCTION

 

Where there is no vision the people perish. Proverbs 29:18 (KJV). Scripture also says My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge  Hosea 4:6. Coming up from the kind of background I grew up from, I got to the point where I discover there were things I needed to know considering where we were raise but I could not lay hands into the depth of what I was looking for I could not have answers to them and I needed to know what to do when it comes to issues about destiny. Grace came in to find some of us through dissatisfaction and in response to those inner voice and the cry in our heart because of our desire to see that we are able to fulfill destiny, His mercies and grace ordered our path to finding help; not just anyhow misguided help but  the kind of help that we needed. The guide to know what to do in response to those inner cry of God’s Spirit in us. We were faced by different kind of seasons which came on us without at that time having much explanations to why they were coming. Years later and even today the understanding came that those seasons that came on us were actually the season of our refining, the season we had to go through God’s process of making. As we speak even now many are going through this same season as some of us went through it years back.

It was because of the help and guide some of us received and through God’s many mercies and grace that we were able to go through it successfully we may not have known what to do if we were not helped or guided. But thank God for His help. The enlightenment that came with the very kind of help we needed came through the studying of God’s word (Bible), others came through sermons, songs, and other christian materials like books and biographies of many who journeyed with God whom have fulfilled their God’s given assignment already or are still fulfilling it were also what helped us. Imagine what would have happened if we never had the kind of help we needed, we would have gotten so many things wrong and misinterpreted many things negatively not knowing that they were actually God’s ocastrated seasons that was for our good. We would have given up and conclude life is not fare, we could have conclude the rejection is too much, problems are too much and then abandoned all that God was trying to do with us for something else.

Today there are many out there clueless in the street that have no idea or whatsoever knowledge about how God build and prepare His vessels. They are not aware that it will take them going through “process”. Some of these people are there in the church as congratulation; great destinies yet lost in life. Some of these people want to fulfill destiny but don’t know what to do. And some times the messages in most meetings and gathering are not directed toward thees areas.

So a prophet is in the congregation and never knew it; an apostle is in the church, an evangelist is seated right there and yet he or she is not aware of who they are and even if they are, many are still not aware of what to do to see it manifested this book is written to provide some of the helps needed.

Everything in life that you see today in one way or the other go through process; you can’t bypass it. The whole world and the heaven went first through the process of being created Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” How do you create “something” creation has to take engaging one thing or the other putting them together before it becomes what you are looking for and that which you engaged, the steps and the time put together is what is call the process. It had to start from its raw state or stage through the engagement phase of the process to arrive at the finished staged, the phase many people today admire.

People are not so much interested with anything that has to do with the word process but they rather admire the already made phase. People want already made man, woman, wife, husband, business, they want already made destiny, already made ministry, already made everything; it doesn’t just work like that. There is no already made process for any calling including yours.

Many business first went through process; many ministries went through it even the best of the best dishes, structures, machineries etc undergo through process; likewise no destiny can ever get to it full place of potential by bypassing the law of process. Our own lives too have to go through it; it will go through process before all that was foretold (written) about us can come to pass. The birth of Jesus Christ was first nothing but a prophesy that was being awaited, but it took process for it to come to pass someone have to be found first and had to become pregnant of the Holy Ghost, carry it like every other woman would do that is with a child and give birth to it. Isaiah 7:14 “Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Mary was that person by the help of God whom prophesy passed through her for that birthing to take place; she granted the prophesy expression, her womb and her participation to carry the child give birth to the child nature the child untill He becomes of age is process. Matthew 1:18-21 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins”. And it took Jesus going through process also again thirty years preparation for a ministry of three and half years.

Many are not aware that this law exist; some do know that it exist but they want to bypass it; they think one can just wake up and then he or she is just right there at the top; no. By ignorance many aborted destiny some others got stocked. They never made any progress and why because only process can birth the next phase of their lives but they know not. Every day they know that they are supposes to be great; they know that there is something special about them but as for how to get there is the problem what do I do to get there is the problem. Mary the mother of Jesus thank God had to ask the angel of God who brought her the good tidings a question “but how can this thing be” she wants to know. Her question point to nothing but to process.

Do you have a great destiny, are those dreams still there and you wander why it is not forth coming to pass, only process can take you there. This book is written to help provide you with the assistance needed for you to know about process.

W H A T   I  S   P R O C E S S

You are not yet ready for use until you are

made and it will take one going through

process to achieve that. – Bro. John Emmanuel

Procees is a series of events which produce a result. Those from the manufacturing and industrious world may define it as a set of procedures used to produce a product, most commonly in the food and chemical industries. Anatomy also looks at the word process as a path of succession of states through which a system passes. In computing term it is an executable task or program.

However, in this wise I will define it as a succession of procedures through seasons and events carryout in their series that allows for heaven and God to carryout all executatle procedures in men and women whom He will be using as sent to manifest His assignment.

Process is going through God’s program or season of becoming so as to be able to be a reflection of the exact picture of what you are sent to reflect as originally designed. Process is the program that allows for building or becoming of all God to use vessels.

There are goods that come sometimes raw, inconsumable and it takes those goods exposed to one or two process to become consumable. So also man is we may not fully have the full understanding of all that we are sent to do, how we are suppose to it, where we are to do it and to whom should we do it to

Every fuel first came as crude oil it is refining that brings them to a consumable state. Untill refining take place there is no usage of it. Refining is what brings about the birthing of it in their specifics petrol, vessel, kero, engine oil etc.

We came raw it take the season of preparation to get us to the ready to use version of us. Process is that working in time that must take place in every man or woman sent by God that helps bring about the maturing of the person involved from their raw state into the version of them that now allows them to express their full potentials. It is in the season state where ideas, dreams, vision destinies, prophesies etc passes through from it raw (scratch) state to it place of full potential state or manifestation. Process is a season that carry in it all the technology of heaven that aids the refining of men who God and heaven want to use. It is a season where every human is allowed to go through what makes them become useable. You are not ready to be use until you have gone through phase of making. Process is a season where every man or woman is allowed to go through “refining” or transformation so that they are well fitted into the nature of the kind of assignment or destiny they were sent to fulfill. Ezekiel 3:8-9 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads. As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

Every man first appears a civilian but it is training, discipline that makes some military personnel. Some they are cultured and by that it qualified them now to be call teachers, doctors, lawyers, engineers etc. God never sent anyone into the field untrained. Process is what brings about the making phase. And at the end of it that is when it will be decided whether you should be sent or not. To carry this out; God and heaven intentionally can organize a season in your life where and when this event should take place.

THE  MAKING PHASE

It is process that brings about the making phase of every man before they are used of God and in this phase of making the man or the woman is allow to go through the potter’s house and hands; He is the potter; the clay is the man. The man is allowed to go through His hands for making. In this phase of making the man or the woman is also allow to go through the “refining phase” yes, God too have a system for refining people talking about refinery you know it is in the refinery that you can refine resources of great value they come as crude product, they come in an un-consumable and in-useable shape but it is the refining that brings them into their best it is the refining that brings them to their consumable or useable shape. The refiner will have to keep it refining, He will have to keep the refining going depending on what His expectations are, what He wants or what He is expecting to have as an out come from the crude product; if it is gold, okay I want this one as gold and that one silver or I need this to be iron, tin, copper, gass, kerosene or petrol so is every man and woman created after the intent of He that wants to use us for His purpose here on earth.  Ezekiel’s making was fashioned after the nature of the assignment of God for his life and his fashion was after the order that can handle the way of life of the generation God is sending him to. THE  SEASON OF REFINNING

The season of refining is a season where one is allowed to go through training, pruning, chastening, molding and reshaping. It is a season where one is allowed to go through the season of furnace of afflictions. Isaiah 48:10 “Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. As the scripture put it, it is not the normal fire as it may look but it encompass “problems, afflictions, challenges etc.” so that one becomes purified and ready for the Master’s effective use.

One single product “crude oil” goes through many different phase of refining (fire) and look what the result is when it get hitted by fire at divers degree of hit at a level you get petrol, at another level again you can get diesel (gas), hit it again and it gives you kerosene, hit it again and you get engine oil etc.

What about gold and silver these are all product that only fire brings out the best of them and they don’t come as beautiful as we admire them it is fire that the brings out their beauties. So also in the making of God’s vessels there are ocastrated seasons were one goes through the fire of making call the season of refining or furnace of afflictions Isaiah 48:10 “Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction .

The food we eat go through process to get it prepared and ready for consumption whichever way it takes fire still to get it prepared from it raw state to the transformed version that is eatable.

It is also during the season of one’s refining that everything that needs to be burnt away to allow the beauty God desire to have is burnt the same was as gold is exposed to this same fire. So worst part of us, version of us, and the ugly part of us is exposed to the fire to burn it away. The flesh is burnt down so that our best in God can come into work. This has to be so because there is a version of us that God is looking out for the version that God will be using is not the version that still have features like: lust, anger, envy, bitterness, unforgiveness etc still at work no; with that kind of a version still at work in any man God cannot put it into His own work. This is why that ugly version of man will have to go through a burning away season. The fire of God will have to burn all of that away so that the only thing left is that golden version of the man, the purified and the purged version; a version that loves like God loves, a version that forgives like God does; a version that endures like He does, a version that is humble and not proud like His begotten son Jesus Christ demonstrated; a version that all they see is a reflection of God in everything; that is the kind that God is looking out for and only that refining process can get it done. Probably if you see crude at it raw state you may not like it because it is mixed with all kind of things but after the refining you are in love with what you see.

In the season of refining; an ocastrated season will be allow to open for you to refine you so that you are shape to fit into what you are sent to do. Isaiah 48:10 “behold I have refined thee, but not with silver I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. Nobody can by pass this law. Jesus Himself went through it; for thirty years He was going through it. It is a season that is organized to help in preparing you toward fulfilling your God given destiny. Jesus was not ready at age twelve, why because we saw Him still at the temple asking questions. In your season of refining that is when you get to receive also the answer to most questions you ever needed to have. Jesus was only ready at thirty.

It is in the season of refining or your preparation that you are allow to freely ask major destiny defining questions and then make sure that the answers to those questions have been provided to you before your time of lunching out. Moses in Egypt was asked a question also “who made you our judge” he could not answer this question he had to run away and forty years later we saw Moses returning to the same Egypt he ran away from not only was he to now ready to answer the people’s question but he was also ready to face Pharaoh the rod and the signs following Moses are the answers. Don’t lunch out until every major question about where God is taking you too is settled if it is not yet answered your generation will ask you. Moses speaking with God, who do I say that sent me, “I am” was the answer he received, the rod and signs that will be following him. I remember how that growing up I know that the Godhead are three I know God as the Father, and God as the Son but God the Holy Spirit nothing much. But when destiny was to start playing out on me through hunger that came by the sermons I was listening to I got to make sure that I know more about this personality of God called the Holy Spirit and with that quest in my heart and the knowledge now gotten I saw how that having the knowledge is not enough I want Him too I want to have that experience and I want to have that same encounter with the Holy Spirit then it came to pass and ever since then my life has never been the same again. But before then I had little but few knowledge about Him and teach it to but few what if I was asked to prove it that I know Him and that I have encounter Him I could not have been able to do anything but thank God for Jesus who helped me out.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING

YOUR SEASON OF REFINING AND PREPARATION

In one’s season of refining, pruning, molding and reshaping the following events are most likely what to experience:

• Trials and testing
• Persecution
• Afflictions
• Being Misunderstood
• God and Angelic assistance

The Season Opens You Up For Trials

The season of refining opens you up to be tried in Mathew 4:1-11 we saw how that Jesus by the leading of the Holy Spirit was led into the wilderness to be tried of the devil. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him (Mathew 4:1-11).

One thing you must know is this that your season of refining or preparation will bring you hand in hand to face trials you will be facing the devil not necessarily directly like Jesus did and this is so, so that heaven can be able to confirm whether or not you are ready and should be endorsed, whether or not you are fitting for the task assigned you and whether or not heaven should release you out that is if only you are able to have passed the test. Even the devil has to leave him alone for another season Mathew 4:11 “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him”

Persecution

Persecution is also one of the things to likely experience in the season of refining where almost people who ever had been in the business can be used also by the devil to frustrate your life. And it may even come from people whom are very close to you Mathew 10:35 “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” People whom you don’t even expect could be the ones to persecute you will be the ones used by the devil to do that remember a man’s enemy will be a member of his own house hold people from even the same fellowship, church or even your immediate family members your brothers, sisters, parents friends who don’t really understand how God makes men could be at times used by the devil to frustrate you Joseph was going through this season a season that was preparing him for the kind of future that was awaiting him his brothers were the first to be used by the devil to hate him; they hated him to the point death is what they wanted for him. However he ended up being sold out don’t be surprised you may likely be sold out by your own brothers and suffer rejection or possibly sent out of home. Joseph was later accused falsely by his master’s wife and nobody ever gave him any chance to say something about it there was not any chance for him to say I am innocent straight into the prison they sent him. Genesis 39:1-20 “And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

But look at Joseph’s comment at the other end after the season Genesis 45:3-7 “And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence. And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.” Many people the same too today have persecuted their deliverers.

Afflictions

Unexplainable floods of problem and serve affliction is also one thing you may at times also come across in this season of refining the season allows you to truly pass to the furnace of affliction not the kind that destroys but the type that is ocastrated to bring you to becoming a well furnished God’s weapon or vessel like gold go through fire, silver, iron and so on even so God’s vessels too at times can be allowed to experience things like that and it looks at such seasons of time with sometimes one problem to another; you are out of this and the next minute you are into another not that you necessarily offended anyone no, but it is just coming so that you can be tried as gold is tried through fire and if you can survive seasons as such then you can survive any other thing that comes your way. Think of how the military training is, the discipline and the hardness of the training; all of that for a training a preparation to  becoming a real weapon in yourself. And it had to that hard and tough because they don’t know where you will find yourself tomorrow; you could fall into the hands the enemies and because of the enemy’s ill treatment you can be forced to compromised or give up but the well furnished and fashion of the training you undergo is what can guarantee whether or not you can stand or survive whatever may come your way in the future.

The story of Joseph shows us too how that a man can go through a lot in life like him and yet end up becoming a great voice a great godly man like him well furnished and trained through situations and circumstance ranging from hatred to slavery to prison and to the palace. What an example we have in Joseph.

Being Misunderstood

Among all that I personally suffered, the afflictions, rejections, lack and so on the one I experience the most is being misunderstood. For many times people misunderstood me when I speak and when I do anything; most of the time because the path He was using to raise me up seems to be not the usual way that many knew. You could even feel it from their words “he has missed it” sometimes not directly, they can even quote scriptures for it, but yet it was a wrong judgment they were given to me and yet when I returned to Him it was with a different eyes He looks at me; and regardless of all I went through those are the days I saw the power of God more at work. He will come when I am alone; yes because some of the only thing I could do then was to cry alone in the closet; lonely, rejected and criticized by people I honour and respected; people whom I could never do any of the things they were doing to me. I had no one except Him, He was the only one that could understand me and the only one who was there with me and for me sometime is not even in the closet but may be somewhere in a solitary area when I think about all I am going through and how that nobody seems to understand me tears were the only way I could express my pains and need for care those are the time I needed love and care those are the times where I needed someone around me who could understand me but none was there but only Him. Being miss understood is one of the thing the season of training and preparation at times can bring your way but a time came where it no longer matter again to me I got use to it that men are always a possibility to fail me but not God so I shifted my attention more to God than to man. The friends of Job miss understood the predicament behind his misfortune and they assume it to be cause by his sins but at the end they were made to understand that they were wrong yes at the end of the season it will be brought to light everything you went through and everyone will see and come to realize that it was God training you.

 

God and Angelic assistance

During this same season you are not totally abounded there are still moment when you will be greatly be in the company of God’s angels coming to minister unto you and also His presence around you when your heart is moved deeply to talk to Him about the situation on ground or around is what you get in your songs you will feel Him around in your prayers you will feel Him in your secret place of fellowship with Him you will feel Him in your dreams you are also given messages concerning your present situation you are given information concerning the present time of your life and the future. Those are the days if your are getting it correct and not reacting negatively that you begin to misbehaved God can begin to show you things even that will happen in few hours to come or even the next day and exactly it will have as it was revealed unto your with accuracy and precision that regardless of all that was happening wrong to Joseph, God never forsook him He was rather with him in everything he was doing and everywhere he goes he prospered and not even just that along but that even whom he lived with partake of these same blessings too because of his staying with them. Jacob also is another man who had the same record that although not treated well by Laban yet God was still with him and even the man Laban knew it that the increase he had enjoy was because of the presence of the man Jacob staying with him. Genesis 31:1-12 “And he heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this glory. And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before. And the LORD said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee. And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field unto his flock, And said unto them, I see your father’s countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father hath been with me. And ye know that with all my power I have served your father. And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me. If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstreaked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstreaked. Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me. And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstreaked, speckled, and grisled. And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I. And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstreaked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee. Genesis 30”27 “And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.”

God was still with Jacob regardless of the ill treatment from Laban he saw it Laban himself saying I was bless this I know by experience that it was because of you. Those are the seasons where you begin to experience that every of your prayer carries power and God seems to have special care and love for you like Jacob that He answer your prayers and whatsoever you do that is of God you find out always that it hardly fail. Genesis 31:3-8 “And said unto them, I see your father’s countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father hath been with me. And ye know that with all my power I have served your father. And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me. If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstreaked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstreaked. Everything around as people may be seeing it to them they may think you are going to fail but no; the opposite is the case they keep seeing you going and with no sign of failing at all until they come to admit that truly they are wrong and that God is truly with you Laban had to receive that very clearly and was even warned on how to go about the man Jacob. Genesis 31:23-24 “And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days’ journey; and they overtook him in the mount Gilead. And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.”

 

 

GOD’S REFINING

FIRE DOES NOT DESTROY

 

God’s refining fire does not destroy; it is not the same as the fire of God’s judgment no. just as fire does not destroy gold, silver, iron and so on but purifies it and make it more beautiful so also is the fire of God’s refining season scripture calls it the furnace of afflictions Isaiah 48:10 “Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. The fire is not to destroy you but to purify you and to bring out the best of you. Isaiah 43:1-5 “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.; infact people who go through seasons like this hardly give up their faith in God; why because they have seen the lion and they have seen the bear like David and so when the future comes to face Goliath you are not intimidated again by what intimidate others Goliath’s presence was intimidating the armies of Israel but not so with David why because the difference between the armies of Israel and David is the encounter David had when he was faced by the lion and the bear when taking care of his father’s sheep 1Samuel 17”32-37 “And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. People who go through seasons as such don’t give up easily why because they have seen storms and have gone through them before, they have gone through also the burning furnace like the three young men in Babylon.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD ONE KNOW ABOUT

THE SEASON OF HIS REFINING AND PREPARATION

One thing to note about season of refining is that it is also during this season that most price of one’s calling is paid. Our salvation came free that is true but to fulfill destiny you have to labour to get yourself fit for the task. That God called you to be a lecturer today in the academia does not mean you will not pay your way to get schooled to that level so also it is even when God calls you out to be a pastor, prophet, evangelist, teacher, apostles etc. It took Moses forty years, Paul the apostle three years in Arabia and fifteen days extra that is his own price that he had to pay Galatians 1:15-19 “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.” The twelve disciples three years and half is what it cost them following that is their own price which they had to pay infact they had to leave their all to do that, that is the price that they had to pay also.

Jesus Himself as the Christ it had to take Him through thirty years preparation for a ministry of just three years and half plus extra forty more days in the wilderness that is His own price to pay to prepare Him ahead of what He was sent to do here on earth.

So also it is during a man’s season of refining and preparation it is in that season that most of the price his or her calling is paid and during this period of time everything happening to you it will begin to draw you directly or indirectly that you may not know at times that all you were going through was and is the price that you were paying; a participation to birth dreams, visions and prophesies is into reality is what is call the price. In this season you begin to feel drawn to doing certain things you are drawn unto separation, you are drawn to a heavy life and time with God through prayer, fasting, studying and learning, drawn to a long time of fellowship and intimacy with Him mostly in secrete place, you feel drawn to service you see yourself serving others and you are not force into doing. It is a phase that cannot be bypassed if truly we want to do it God’s way this had to be journeyed so long as preparation and God’s making is concerned.  All of this is to be able to bring you to that point where heaven and God endorse you; this is my beloved Son hear him. Luke 9:35 “And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him”. I have raised me a king after my own heart David is being recommended Acts 13:22 “And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will”. 1 Samuel 16:1 “And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons”.

David never knew too that all the seasons he went through were what God was using to prepare him into becoming the man that is after His heart. Job too received this recommendation “have you notice my servant Job there is none like him” Job 1:8 “And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” it during ones most season of refining and preparations that such recommendations come the things one passes through end up becoming the reason why the lifting and the applause of heaven is given not applause of men for while men are already saying no to the one going through his or her season to heaven it’s a yes approval a person gets.

 

WHAT SHOULD ONE

DO IN HIS SEASON OF REFINING

In your season of refining what do you do, all you need the grace to remain focus. You will need to employ the power of FOCUS. You will need at such a time to learn how to get your eyes rightly fixed on Him and all His promises concerning you, all His promises concerning your life Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Your eyes most not be away from Him and not even after the end of the season the refining you will discover so happened so that at the end of it at you will come to understand that it happened so as to get you schooled.

Maintain your focus keep in mind where you are going and refuse to be distracted even by the storm you may experience during the season of the refining; your eyes at such a time should be more on Him and where He is taking you too that He said He would according to His promises this is one of the things you will need to be doing to keep you on the track and also to help you in your following Him and His program for your life.

 

WHAT ELSE SHOULD ONE DO AT SUCH SEASONS 

• Pray

During this season you will need prayers to strive Luke 18:1 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint”. Colossians 4: 2 “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving”. Keep the prayer going and even the burdens on you will insist that you pray and at times to help you out God can begin to give you a clue through the burden that will be coming and you are given an eye opening to issues that brings you to insist that something had to be done about it so the Lord can begin to show you things like are you not seeing everybody is suffering in the family; are you not seeing how that almost everybody in the family seems to be failing in everything they do; or how that nobody ever tried to follow or serve God correct or how that there is no one stand for God in the family or territory or nobody marries correct or marry on time or how that almost all the women in the family don’t have children but suffering from being barren; the history of your family is shown you and you are drawn to deep and sincere heartfelt prayers.

• Fast

Fast also during this season and during this season, you also will discover that praying alone is not enough so you find yourself or begin to feel the need to fast or feel instructed to engage in fasting too for a very long time. Instructed or not; led or not sometimes you are just not satisfy with everything happening and you are not even doing it religiously but with all of your heart in it you come to understand that it is to you a thing of necessity that you had to do if at all want to scale through, stand through or break out from what stopped others from rising where you came  from, you don’t just want to be stopped by anything or any force whatever and most of these engagement the fasting, the praying etc will later end up becoming a part of you that you cannot do without them anymore. However fasting also is very important as there are somethings that cannot go except by prayer and fasting Mathew 17:21 “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”

 

• Fellowship

Build fellowship with God and with others. Infact when that season comes on you will begin to feel drawn also to deep kind of fellowship with God intimacy many at times is what you feel calling on you. Oneness is what God desire also where that relationship is established between you and Him fellowship intimacy is one thing to get you there. Have also a secret place of fellowship with God. Psalms 91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” A place where you go to with on the Lord Habakkuk 2:1-3 “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.”

• Study

Educate yourself more and that can come mostly true studying of God’s word and other Christian literatures. It is studying that will bring you to that level of light as to knowing that many also have gone through this same season your spirit man need to be educated with the right knowledge of God and the knowledge of where God is going to be taking you too which possibly many people too have been there so at such a season too you will begin t feel the need to make enquiries on areas that captures where God said He is going to be taking you to. Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Psalms 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalms 119:130 “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”

 

• Be strong and courageous

You will need to be very courageous. And to help you get to the place of one that is courageous heaven will allow you to pass through some things that at the end of it all you will now discover that courage have truly been built in your by the reason of the experiences you went through.

I was concerned why God Himself will be telling Joshua to be strong and courageous after the death of Moses it should be may be someone else telling him that but God himself was the one who was telling Joshua to be strong and courageous that means strength and courage is very much needed, God himself emphasized on it. Joshua 1:6 “Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.” And as though the information He gave Joshua in the verse six is not enough look what He said again in Joshua 1:6 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

 

• Don’t lose Him

One thing you must never allow yourself to do is losing Him. Don’t lose Him for anything or for any reason. You will need to carry Jesus with you all through not just during this season alone but throughout the remaining days of your life remember what I said that some of these engagement will end up becoming a part of you that you cannot do without it again. The disciples were in the boat going to the other side of Gadara the only reason why they did not die that day was because Jesus was still with them even at the midst of the storm because at that time they don’t have any level of faith in themselves that could have helped them out in the rebuking of the wind turning back to Jesus because they know He was still in the boat with them was what saved them out that day always run a kind of a check up on your inside is He still around is He still inside if He is then fear not there is no cause for alarm continue with Him and don’t lose Him for any reason carry Him always. Luke 8:22-25 “Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.”

• Maintain your peace and Joy

Don’t lose your peace and don’t lose your joy if with all that you are going through you can still find that inner joy and peace; fear not God is still around and He is still close and closer to you then you ever expect. In your season of furnace of afflictions and refining no matter what happens to you always remember to check your peace and joy in the Lord; no matter what people say good or bad still return back to do a check up on your inside one of the sign that shows God is still around you is the presence of this inner peace and joy that you always feel you are suffering but yet there is this unexplainable joy inside Joy in suffering Paul the Apostle rightly put it.  Romans 5:1-5 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

• Be very obedient

Let your obedience be complete. It is in this season also that you will be allow to be tested and tried to see if you will be obedient to God or now to see whether you will compromise or not, to see whether you are going to displease God always and heave to please and satisfy self or people. The devil said to Him if only you will fall down and worship me I will give you all of these glories for it was given to me, but what did the scripture says Jesus quickly reminded the devil it is written worship the Lord your God only Mathew 4:10 “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” Many today would have disobeyed the law and for the pursuit of vain things. Joshua was not only ask to study and meditate on the word alone but to also see that he observe to do also all that is written in the word for it is only in the observation and the doing of the word through it application in a man’s life that is considered to be obedience. Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” 2Corinthians 10:6 “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

• Keep your faith

You may be going through a whole lot of things beyond explanations yes, but don’t lose your faith keep your faith you may even lose your friends, money and possibly even fail many times during this season keep your faith lose many things but remain believing in Him and in the one who is the owner of your life remain believing in the one who called you out. Job said thou He slay me yet will I trust in Him. Keep the faith and don’t lose your faith in Him. James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” The church of Philadelphia keep their faith in God regardless of all that they faced and look at God’s testimony upon them. Revelation 3:8 “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

  

• Engage also in doing good

Engage in well doing, do good to all, serve, help and do not relent in doing so for they are also sacrifice which have voice in themselves and can speak also for you. In season like that you will also experience that regardless of all going on with you will still at times feel drawn to do some of these things which are mentioned and when you hear the instruction to do so or felt at anytime the leading to do any of them do not relent. With all that befell Job he still returned back to offer sacrifice unto his God and in worship he said it is the Lord who gave and now He has take away naked came I and naked will I return. Galatians 6:9-10 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. It is also on the account of doing good that Abraham welcomed angels and brought about the prophesy of the coming of his son Isaac the angel said by this time next year Genesis 18:1-14 “And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. So let just imagine what would have happened to Abraham if he had not done that if he had not welcome them when he saw them from afar and that was a season when God was still trying his patience and faithfulness he was promised that his seed will be without number yet Sarah the one upon which the prophesy will be fulfilled with was still barren a simple act of kindness brought about the final fulfillment and the birthing of that promise.

 

WHAT EXACTLY DOES GOD WANT

TO ACHIEVE BY OCASTRATING SEASONS

 LIKE SEASONS OF REFINING

There are many and many more reasons as to why God can ocastrate or allow such a season as the season of refining to come upon a man and few of them include:

• To bring you to the place where you learn how to give God His due honour

One of the goal and reason why such a season can come upon a man is to be able to bring such a fellow to the place where God through that refining finally introduce into the life of that fellow the ability to acknowledge and honour God. John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease. And to add to it not even just God alone but also to bring that same fellow again to the point where he or she now have regard to anyone who had also gone through phases or seasons of dealings like this to.

• To bring you to a place of true humility, brokenness and contriteness

Another goal for why God can allow such a season to come upon a man is to bring man to a place of true humility, genuine brokenness and contriteness of heart and spirit Psalms 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.” Galatians 6:14 “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”

You are no longer one who honour’s self or promote it again one whose goal and passion is to see God lifted and Christ revealed through your life and every other thing else you do John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease..

Process and one’s ability to go through season as the season of refining most at times brings one to that state of true humility, arrogance is silenced; pride destroyed and it is no longer the flesh that is exalted but God.

• To bring you to the place of strength and boldness

It brings you to a place where you are now strong and bold. The season of refining create in you the boldness you need to be able to carry out any of God’s assignment for your life. You are no longer afraid of anything because you have seen it all; all of the dangers and all of the shame; all of the intimidations yet because you did not give up during the season chances are also that you are not going to give up also in the future. Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

• To build strong convictions in you

Another reason is to be able also to bring man to the place of strong convictions and faith in God: you don’t know how to doubt God anymore and there is no way you can give up on God again. Romans 8:38-39 “As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

• To train you into understand how God moves

One of the reasons also is to be able to bring you to that point where you are trained through all that will be happening to you in the season to understand how God moves. You are schooled through the season to understand to some point the ways God operate. By experience Paul the apostle speaks in the book Ephesians 3:20 saying “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”  It takes one whom have gone through seasons like this to make such an utterance because he have come to know and to understand that in God’s ways and moves He is able to do all.

• To train your hearing and sight

Training ones hearing and his ability to see can allow God to bring upon a man such a season that at the end you are brought to learning how to hear God’s voice and to prove the level of your sight accuracy. It is during this season that you are going to begin to be trained on how to hear and to follow his voice. He speaks to you through divers ways and means and try also to communicate to you through His spiritual visionary channels to see if you are discerning enough to pick up those communication signals or messages if you can then He is sure of using them also to reach out to you anytime. God had to ask Jeremiah what do you see and in response to that question he said I see a rod of an almond tree and in the second time he said I see a seething pot facing toward the north all these is God trying to test run the authenticity of Jeremiah’s prophetic sight accuracy Jeremiah 1: 11-14 “Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north. Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.”  The young boy Samuel too had to be trained by Eli though he could hear but his hearing was wrong for he thought it was his master that was calling on him 1Samuel 3:1-11 “And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him. And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.”

• To train you on how to use your rod

So that you are trained on how to use your rod (staff) of authority God and heaven can allow you go through such a season. For it is in seasons like that you are trained on how to use the anointing of God that is upon your life. You are trained on learning all of that so that at the end of it all you are able to know what and what to engage to bring that anointing of God that is upon your life to work when you need it to work. Just as Moses was trained Exodus 4:1-9 “And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. • To let you know the discipline of your calling

Every profession have their discipline they have their ethics their do’s and their don’ts; it is also in this season that you receive instructions that pertain the assignment of God for your life, how to go about it, what to do, what not to do, how to live and how not to live. You might have even tried some of them during the season and know what punishment follows up so you are given the discipline to know that you are never to engage on anything again like that all the days of your life you are now a Nazarene. Judges 13:3-5 “And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

Manoah was still not satisfied with what his wife told him he needed to have the same encounter to and look what happened next Judges 13:13-14 “And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware. She may not eat of anything that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.

• To give you warnings

The season is likely also to be you used to give you all of the warnings that you need to be aware for you in particular. To give you’re the awareness of all the warnings that you need to know seasons like that can be open upon you and upon any man consistently so as you are allow to know the things that can bring about rising to you and also the things that will bring about your end or falling (your doom). Samson for example was told what to do and what not to do. Priesthood at every point have its laws as a prophet and as an apostle or an evangelist a business or someone call into government, God through this season allows you to come to the knowing that this I am not suppose to do, this is what I am to do.  Judges 13:3-5 “And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Samson knew it; he knew what he was not suppose to do and when he told it his secret to Delilah and she got his heir shaved Samson the might man became nothing his strength left him, his glory left him and then the enemies took away his eyes; they never took away his legs or hands no look what they did they took away his sight be careful. Judges 16:16-19 “And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath showed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand. And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

• To bring you to the place where the flesh is totally silenced

To bring you to the place where the flesh is crucified for until the flesh is crucified nothing else you do through flesh is of any glory to Him a man can be allow to go through these seasons to bring him or her to the point where the flesh dies Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

• To bring you to the place where you learn also how to walk and live in the spirit

To bring you to the place where you learn also how to live in the spirit the spirit realm is where your reality is and the ream where sin and iniquity does not survive you can’t live in the spirit always and satisfy the desires of the flesh not the flesh has its own realm also. So you are allow to go through these seasons so that you are also trained on how to look for God where He is which of God it is only in the realm of the spirit that you can find Him. Galatians 5:16 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

 

• To bring you to the point where compassion is built in you.

One of the essences why God can bring someone to such a season is to build compassion. The ordinary you from the start may be someone with no regard or pity for any one. You are someone who is always good at insulting, criticizing, judging, and condemning people anyhow. You treat people who are not of your level as though they are nothing; you bypass anyone who is sick or oppress; you have no regard for the poor, elders, widows or orphans; you see people who are not doing well in life as lazy or failures. To build compassion in you God can allow you to be befalling by some of these things that others are going through or possibly all of them so that at the end of the day you will come to the point where you now can also feel what others are feeling. You have children, they don’t; you are married, they are not; you are in a relationship they are not, if God want to build compassion in you, He will allow you to lose all that is behind your reason for pride and lack of consideration until compassion is built in you. Scripture says for even we do not serve a high priest who is not moved with our infirmities Hebrews 4:15 “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

. Jesus went through all and He too know what it takes to feel what we are feeling so we do not serve a God who is not move with all that is happening to us. If you have not been sick before and He wants you to become the vessel that will bring healing to the world what He will do at times is to allow you go through the same affliction that comes through sickness and then when you have suffered from it and have learned the lesson you are supposed to have learned then He ensures that you did not end in the same sickness but experience His hand of healing so that at the end of it all you will anytime when you see the sick you are moved too to remember how you too went through it. If you are going to be the one to feed the nations for example He can allow you to suffer hunger too so that at the end when He brings you to the place of abundance and you see the hungry anywhere you will be move to help why because compassion has been built in you when you where in that same kind of season.

THE ROUNDING

UP OF THESE SEASONS

Does this season come only once, is the price to be paid only once and that is all; no, I would like to employ this example in the game of athletics there is the one that is organized at a local level, and the one at state level, national level, international level and the at the global level. That you were able to prepared and won the athletic at the local level does not mean you do not need any further preparation again if you are going to be participating also at the state level athletic no for every level of progression your journey must take had to keep going through this seasons of preparation and the preparation you did when you are dealing with game at a local level may not be the same as at the state level the pace used at the local level may not work for you at the state level, national level, international level or even at the global level because you are going to be meeting with a new set of people who are also winner’s and professional where they came from; so also is life, so also is your journey these seasons have to keep coming again and again you don’t exhorts them just once and that is all no once you are true with this phase the preparation for the next phase of your life starts immediately that you prayed when you started the journey does not mean you don’t need to pray again no; that you fasted before does not mean you don’t need to do that again no. the season will keep unfolding so long as your rising and lifting is concerned with God. That you attended and passed an exam of an elementary class does not mean that there are not other classes and other exams too no. for every promotion to take place one had to go through a season of preparation then comes next the trying of the authenticity of your preparation before the lifting follows.

These event usually happens in phases yes because for every new level that you are going to be stepping in it comes with its own level of preparations it doesn’t just come once and then you call it that is all Jesus for the start He had to go through thirty years of that preparation and then plus forty more days in the wilderness but that was not it all before His being arrested we saw when He kept going to get Himself prepared for the next phase at Gethsemane He had to for three different time go to the place of prayer for He was burdened with that which was about coming on Him the agony of the cross he prayed until His countenance changed we never saw Him do that pray like that during His forty days and night at the wilderness we never saw his sweat dripping as blood happening anywhere during his first thirty years and the forty days in the wilderness. What does this implies the more the journey continues the higher price you must pay the more God continue to lift you the more ready you must be to keep preparing for the next phase of your life.

WHAT TO GAIN AT THE END OF EACH

 SEASON OF REFINING IF WELL MAXIMIZED

What do I stand to gain after all of these personally for going through seasons like seasons of refining and afflictions at the end if I am able to faithfully comply without any default in the season but you were able to please God all through. Well, when every of these seasons comes truly to it end and if truly you are able to faithfully maximized or comply standing with God without any default, the following is what you stand to gain or get as a testament that you went through such a season:

 

Endorsement

Endorsement is one of the things you get; you get an approval from God and heaven bearing witness and testimony a report that testifies truly to the fact that your compliance through all diligence, patience, endurance and faithfulness was noticed. Luke 9:35 “And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him”.

Backing

Supernatural heavens backing is one thing you get. You are given now the liberty through grace and His mercies to enjoy His covering and the backing of heaven. So you have more of angelic backings and His government working with you coming to enable you for the great and more greater work. Mathew 4:11 “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him” Elisha had this same backings too 2Kings 6:17 “And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”

Heighten Understanding

Your understanding is no longer at the same level with how it use to be both physically the experience you passed through is a height to you and then most importantly is even the spiritual level of heighten understanding now that you have and also which is given unto you through these seasons. You now operate at a different level superior to the one you have before the seasons came. Your knowledge about God and how His dealings work is now improved and you now even know what the assignment of God upon your life is all about. “But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things” (1 John 2:20).

 

Opportunities

Doors are opened for you after those season because you can now accommodate them and because the capacity to operate now at such a level has come; a more matured version of you is the one now at work and also because you have now been taken to a more higher heights through consistence, through the seasons and through your walk with Him Revelation 3:8 “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Because of all of that the church of Philadelphia went through which even God and heaven is aware of in response to that God declared an open door to be set before them that no man can shot. And when that door finally get opened this is what you begin to experience people now want to listen to you something they will not do before, people now come to seek counsel from you without you asking them to come for it and you are surprised what is going on.

Your spiritual rank increases

One thing you gain is that at the end of these seasons it if you are able to remain and maintain faithful in God without any default through these seasons even your spiritual rank also increases. You are promoted to a more higher level in rank; you now truly through grace and mercy command high level of God’s presence almost everywhere and glory too through God helping you so long as you do not default. After many years of following God and going through his own season of training under his master Elijah look what Elisha has now become and even him knew it that he is now no longer alone 2Kings 6:16-18 “And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.”

 

The Anointing

The anointing of your life and destiny is given you and if I was already given you even before the season came; at the of it you will experience at more greater level of that unction at work in your life. Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:”

 

Influence

You can now also command the attention of many a compelling grace is given you because you were able to stay true and faithful to God and to His program upon your life. Scripture says and the fame of Him went abroad Mark 1:27-28 “And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.”

In another place again scripture says all men look for Him Mark 1:35-37 “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.” This level of grace too is what you stand to experience and the goal is not so that man should be seen no; but that God alone should be glorified scriptures says and they glorified God in me (Galatians 1:24). Let your light so shine before men that they may see and glorify God. Mathew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

So the goal is not to project man no; but God. For the day you begin to glorify self that is the day you are finished. Nebuchadnezzar tried it and he was sent to the animal kingdom to learn how give God the glory at the end of that which came upon him he had to admit truly to the fact that God alone is the doer of it all. Daniel 4:28-37 “All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.”

THE MAKING ORDER OF THE FIVE FOLD MINISTER’S

AND THEIR SEASONS OF REFINING

THE PROPHETS

If you are called into say the office of the prophet your process and refining not all of it may be like that of the others a prophet will feel more drawn and call to a more kind of lonely journey a prophet is more given to a hidden kind of making process they are more drawn to the secret place, they are men of the cave. They are most likely not always understood by many people unlike the other offices in the five fold ministry a prophet is given more to living a life of fasting, prayers, righteous living because the scepter of their authority is righteousness. And they had to be men of his presence their survival is tie down to the outcome of His presence they are men given to deep instructions what others do at times that is not sinful to a prophet doing it if God never permit it to him it becomes a sin. They are men given to more of prophetic instructions that sometimes don’t seem to make any sense to others. They are men given to total purity and concentration and men who don’t want to see people walking in sin people stained with sin they don’t want to see disvalue God or taking His presence for granted they are not men that have tolerance for religious activities no. they are men concern more to God’s realm of the spirit; men with consistent life given to having access to messages through dreams, visions, trance, revelations, promptings. They are men that don’t take sin for granted even if they are the ones who missed it at any point. They are men that look to others as men with their own kind of life in self righteousness. They are men given to preaching by revelations. They are not men given to much talking on the ordinary life terms but men given to less of it and more of being lonely and much mediations. Prophets are silent but powerful men by operation. Prophet are men that fight against any kind of worship that is not unto God they are men given to confronting systems, government and other authorities they are more concerned to seeing that the whole nation worship nobody but God. They hate darkness and hate anything that had to do with idol worship. The prophets too have their gatherings a place where it is occupied by other prophets and if there is none around the closest place to find them is in the apostolic community in the apostolic community is where you can find all kind of the other gifts and office representatives.

EVENTS TO SUFFER:  They are likely to experience during their own season of refining rejection, persecutions, hunger, loneliness, prison terms, death but mostly they suffer being misunderstood almost most of the time. 

THE APOSTLES

These are men given more to cooperate gathering. They are stronger together. The office of the apostleship has more capacity to allow one function in almost all of the office they are more like the multi-tasking type in operation. They function almost in all of the offices; the prophetic, pastoral, teaching, evangelical and other offices when need arise. They are also men given to the ministry of the word and prayer they are very powerful in their own office they are more concerned to releasing the government of God upon a place and men concerned more to expanding the course of the gospel to territories they are more given to bringing orders in the church and making sure that people are actually living in the right knowledge of God. Their making is more base on the gathering kind of system and hate it when men I thought by error. They hate seeing disorder in the church; they hate seeing a church that will not live after the way of righteousness and remain faithful to God. They hate seeing when tradition is practiced inside the church that is claimed to be the way too. They hate seeing people living in pretence having a form of godliness but in the real sense are fake.

EVENTS TO SUFFER:  Great persecutions all most everywhere from both the church and even outside the church, prison and death.

THE EVANGELISTS

Are men and women given also to the course of the kingdom but more concerned with the burden to reach out. They are men given to high level of demand to see others get saved they want to see new convert new people coming into receiving Christ they want to see a whole new territory opening up for Jesus they also operate highly in the power of God displaying His government too here on earth. They are men given to much travelling and they are not disturbed about it. Their formation and making too is of the gathering. REFINING EVENTS:  great persecutions almost everywhere too, hunger, rejections, prison and death 

THE PASTORS

They are men given to shephering of God’s flocks men given with the burned to see that the people are properly guided nurtured unto to maturity. They are also concerned with meeting the need of the people and their welfare. They are men given to more concerned on preaching the word they are more concerned with feeding the flocks and if they are also able to press well into God can also experience the power of God. Their formation and making too is more of the gathering.

EVENTS TO SUFFER:  great persecutions almost everywhere too, hunger, rejections, prison and death 

THE TEACHERS

They are also like the pastors but the teachers are a people given to the fact that men should be taken more deeper. Taking to that point where to come to understand the word of God in a more deeper point of view they are men given to more of expounding of God’s word. Their more passion is to bring more enlightenment to the people for proper and more quality growth. And if they too are able to press more into God can also experience the power of God. The formation and making of the teacher too also is more on a gathering setting.

EVENTS TO SUFFER:  great persecutions almost everywhere too, hunger, rejections, prison and death. 

It will not be normal to round this up without given someone the opportunity to receive the life of God which is in His son Jesus Christ. Are you born again; are you on the Lord’s side if you are not I will like you to know that it is a risk to live without Jesus are you among the sons of God, are you save; is your salvation still with you or you have lost it do you want it back; please grant me the privilege to lead you back home to Jesus where you belong. But how can I do that; it’s simple just pray the prayer below and let your heart be open.

Lord, Jesus I come before you today, a sinner

Please forgive me of all my sins,

I open up to you now and today please come into my life and be my personal Lord and Saviour receive me Lord Jesus now as your son (daughter) I renounce and forsake every works of darkness and I declare no more to have nothing to do with them; I go forward ever with Jesus and backward never. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and thank your Jesus for saving me, for I am now born again and born of the spirit of God. Thank you Jesus

ABOUT THE BOOK

Where there is no vision the people perish and it is because of the lack of understanding that the people are destroyed Hosea 4:6. Coming up from the kind of background I grew up from, I got to the point where I discover there were things I needed to know considering where and how we were raise but I could not lay hands into the depth of what I was looking for I could not have answers to them and I needed to know what to do when it comes to destiny matters. Grace came in to find some of us through dissatisfaction and in response to those inner voice cry for destiny, His mercies and grace ordered our path to finding help the kind of help that we needed. The guide to know what to do in response to those inner cry of the spirit which we could not even know the reason why we were faced by different kind of seasons which we never had any explanations to why they were coming. Years later I would come to understand that they were actually the season of our refining, the season we had to go through the process of making. As we speak even now I still believe there are still in this same kind of Christian background today that are like I was years back today. They are in the congregation of hundreds and thousands and thousands yet lost in life, destiny and in purpose. Today you still see people living without any guide and direction as to what they should do; many end up becoming nothing. So a prophet is in the congregation and never knew it; an apostle is in the church, an evangelist is seated right there and yet he or she is not aware who they are and even if they are many are still not aware of what is the next thing next to do this book is written as an instrument of help to those areas.
